Xoxoc prickly pear marmalade is a versitile feast of the senses. The tangy flavor of the prickly pear mixed with sweet raw cane sugar makes the perfect combination for spreading on toast, layering on pastries, and even using chutney-style. This jam is made with 70% prickly pear which is grown naturally, without the use of pesticides, in the Hidalgo region of Mexico. Xoxoc works with local communities to replant the Xoconostle cactus as a way to stop erosion and boost the local economy.
